I Was Sexual Abused

I was sexual abused, I was sexual abused so many people are going through what I went through and still going through. I can't wait for the day when all of us that went through this can say I was sexual abused and take pride in the fact that we are taking back our power and are not ashamed of what happened to us. I cant wait for the day when we say enough we won't stand for it any more and do something to end this terrible epidemic.

PISSED OFF

People have bean telling me that people don't want to be associated with an organization that is working to end child sexual abuse. My first thing that pops into my head when I here this is a voice screaming FUCK YOU and I get supper angry. What do you mean people don't want to be associated with an organization that want's to end Child Sexual abuse. What the fuck are you saying people don't want child sexual abuse to end are you telling me that people want children to be sexual abused. Why are people so scared to take a stand on this lets just let are our children get raped because that is what's happening 1 in 4 women admit to be sexual abused before the age of 16 and 1 in 6 men and do you know how many people that keep it a secret there whole lives. go a head stick your head in the sand. Yes I am fucking pissed and no I do not want you try and make me not pissed by tying to explain it all away. I am glad I am pissed off because some needs to be.

The Destroyer

Through Rescue or Destroy, I seek to inspire the idea of renewal through regeneration creation threw destruction.  I seek to be reptilian: “primitive and cold-blooded like the snake, [symbolizing] the instinctual side of the unconscious”* that seeks to rejuvenate its personality, replacing the severed limb with an entirely new one.  We seek the creation of something distinctly new through the destruction of the old, for often times such objects have a way of stifling our minds and creative energies.

Summer Tour 2019

We’ve made it back home in Chicago! We want to express thanks to @d2lorg @stopthesilenceinc @naascainsta @childsafecoloradoinc @kaddatzgalleries & @the_spot_panini_and_wine for hosting & helping us plan this @childhoodfractured Live Narrative Tour Project! It was an eye opening experience to connect with communities in the Upper Midwest, discussing the issues & challenges for people to report &/or even share their experiences. Needless to say, we have A LOT more work to do! We are planning on doing this again next year! This time our goal is to cover more of the West Cost. Anyone that has been following along & is interested in hosting during our Summer Tour 2020 feel free to message us! Also if you haven’t known by now we’ve closed our doors as a coffee shop, however, this will be only temporary. In a meantime, we’ll still be there...working on raising money & developing more educational programs that address healing & prevention. We will still have our scheduled events. To help us out, & if you resonate, you can enroll in our subscription program. Each tier comes with coffee & swag!!! Keep a lookout for community events, & speaking engagements! Any interest in hosting a @childhoodfractured fundraising event or speaking engagement feel free to contact us! #nevergiveup #moreworktodo #subscribe #coffeeprogram#educate #awareness #survivor #talkaboutit #keepkidssafe

Ending The Stigma

As a community, how do we end the stigma of child sexual abuse? It is a very hard topic to navigate given societal constructs & point of view & yet it is an epidemic that must be address. 90% of the offenders are people that children know. These offenders are people that have been sexual abused themselves as children. So how do we break this cycle? Most importantly, how much responsibility & accountability should a community assume to prevent child sexual abuse?
